A small tributary of the Lugg rising in the Radnorshire hills and running down past Kington and Pembridge over Old Red Sandstone ground. The upper beats near Kington are intimate small-stream trout water with good mayfly hatches — a 7.5ft rod is recommended as a practical maximum — while the lower river toward Pembridge is marketed specifically as an autumn/winter grayling fishery.
