Reach-dependent but well-documented: good evening caddis rises through summer on suitable rippled water, a dusk brown-beetle fall in November-December, willow grub selectivity on the willow-lined Strath Taieri into March, and a return to autumn mayfly duns — usually in the warmer part of the day — from March into April.
