Mayflies
The Radovna threads through the Vintgar Gorge near Bled, and most of the people who see it are there for the walkway, not the water — the gorge section itself is effectively a hiking destination with fishing access restricted to almost nothing. The upper river is a different matter: small, intimate, genuinely fishable brown trout water where local permits allow it. Worth checking access before you plan a trip around it, since the postcard reach and the fishable reach are not, on this river, the same stretch of water.
