Where
Pocket water and short riffles through the upper and middle valley — classic granite-boulder structure. The trout hold tight to the breaks.
Method
Upstream nymph through the broken water, dry-dropper where it settles. Single barbless on the managed stretches.
Kit
9 to 10 ft #4, floating line, 12 ft leader to 4-5 lb fluoro. Studded boots — granite cobble is no less slippery than limestone.
